We need a new Tech Lead that can strengthen, further development, and deliver on our many projects. We are the web application department at Peytz & Co.
We are 14 people (with more on the way) who code custom-built web applications every day for our Danish customers.
The cornerstones of our stack are generally open-source and the primary language is PHP. We use Symfony as our main framework. To this should be added technologies and concepts like Docker, Kubernetes, Eventsourcing, GoLang, React, Laravel, Vue, Typescript, ZF / Laminas, Redis, NSQ / SQS / SES, ElasticSearch, OAuth, Serverless and a lot more.
Recently we have initiated a process of systematic inclusion of tests in all our projects. it affects many parts of our value chain; from sales to customer dialogue and functionality description, to implementation. As our new Tech Lead, you will have a major role in ensuring that the process is maintained, adjusted and executed.
We work both in small and larger teams, depending on the scope of the project. As a Tech Lead, we expect you to have a hand in virtually all of our projects. We expect you to be able to guide and inspire in a technically strong and inclusive way, and collaboration should be one of your core competencies. We expect that your daily work, in addition to hands-on development, is to influence and enhance our technical processes and skills. You do this by asking questions, acting, and making decisions – and stand up for them.
In return, we offer a workplace where you will be challenged and at the same time have good opportunities to influence and participate in a lot of technical decisions. We are placed close to our hosting and mobile apps departments and work very closely with them. Our projects are business-critical systems, experimental testing of business ideas, startup business, or complex integrations between existing systems. We build applications that have never been built before, therefore a high technical level and curiosity are essential personal qualities. And this applies both when projects are outlined, defined, estimated, and not least executed.
Like many others, we have a well-used coffee machine, table tennis, table football, cool parties, Friday bar, board games, running club, fruit basket, and a centrally located office in the Copenhagen Nordvest. But we are different because people stay here for longer. They stay here because there is room to develop, hierarchy is very flat, leadership is open to suggestions and we encourage and thrive on diversity.
