Role & Responsibilities

• We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer who is an expert in Javascript (Node.js)
• We are looking for engineers who work like owners as you will be tasked with leading the development of one of our 5 major components of the Hatica platform
• You will work with experienced engineers and on a modern cloud-native stack built using Javascript (React and Node) and Golang with an in-house real-time data analytics engine on Postgres and Elasticsearch among others
• Build and maintain our backend microservices powering the core of our software platform
• Help your fellow DevOps and junior engineers working on our cloud infrastructure and other components of our product to ensure high code quality and robust architecture
• Work with your team members to maintain high uptime and reliability of our core backend and APIs

Ideal Candidate

• BE/BTech in Computer Science or Engineering
• Experience with backend development (at least 4 years)
• Experience with Node.js (at least 3 years)
• Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript
• Understanding of GraphQL
• Ability to write and maintain high quality code
• Understanding of web coding patterns
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture
• Understanding of AWS and cloud-native technologies is highly preferred
