About us
The department for Media Systems and Applications is part of the Audio and Media Technologies division, best known for its work on MP3 and AAC. We develop software for and together with global leaders in the broadcasting and streaming industry. Our products include streaming servers and packagers, media players for various platforms, and many more, across the whole chain from media production to playout devices.
Your responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain projects in C/C++
- Maintain close relationship with our partners
- Contribute to the development of new streaming technologies
What we expect from you
- University degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Solid programming skills with a focus on C/C++
- A strong sense of responsibility and commitment to your work
- Proficient in English, written and spoken
- Experience in the following areas is desirable:
- Network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP)
- Streaming protocols (HLS, DASH, RTP)
- Multi-platform development (Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, Android)
- Modern programming and scripting languages
