Description
• Develop high-quality software that delivers value to our customers
• Write clean, performant, and well documented code
• Understand respective business unit’s personas and their needs
• Cover code with tests where applicable
• Actively collaborate within the team
• Contribute to broader engineering initiatives
• Participate in department discussions, share experience, and research new technologies
• Coach and mentor other engineers
• Continually grow in technical skills
• Work with manager to focus efforts on improving growth areas
• Contribute to improving codebase in areas that I’ve grown
Requirements
• 5+ years of experience with web-based application development
• Strong proficiency with fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Proficiency/familiarity with JavaScript frameworks, especially React
• Strong proficiency with server-side languages such as Python, Ruby, Java, PHP, and .Net
• Proficiency/familiarity with Python frameworks, especially Django
• Proficiency with database technology such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB
