For the further development of our platform, we are looking for an experienced, self-driven, enthusiastic individual to join our backend team as Senior Python Backend Developer (m/f/x) to support Innoactive’s challenging and exciting backend development efforts.

  • Development of the Python- (Django-) based web platform
  • Design and Development of suitable API Endpoints to be used by our VR/AR clients
  • Shaping the overall system architecture of the Innoactive Portal
  • Development of micro-services for processing and delivery of VR/AR content

Minimum Qualifications

  • You have a  Master’s degree in computer science or you can demonstrate comparable qualifications acquired through professional experience
  • You have at least 3 years of experience in modern programming languages (e.g. Python, PHP, C#)
  • You possess competence in API design (including topics like versioning and throttling)
  • You have demonstrated competence in system architecture, development and testing
  • You are experienced with containerization technology (e.g. Docker)
  • You are experienced in working with Django
  • You possess at least basic knowledge in frontend development and you know what React, Webpack, CSS-in-JS are

Preferred Qualifications

  • You have 5 years of overall software development experience in both front end and back end technologies
  • More precisely, you are an expert in at least two of the following fields, and you are familiar with the others by their concept:
    • Containerization-Technology (Docker)
    • Frontend: React, Webpack, CSS-in-JS
    • DevOps Terraform/ Ansible
  • You have 5 years’ experience in working in an agile and/or Scrum environment
  • You are familiar with cloud infrastructure providers like AWS, Azure or Google Cloud
  • You can use and manage Jira and Confluence in the way your project needs it
