Currently, the heycar Platform is deployed as a set of independent Microservices that run on AWS. The preferred programming languages are Kotlin (Spring Boot) and GoLang and the platform avails of AWS hosted services such as S3, Kinesis, Lambda, Redshift, RDS, SNS and Elasticsearch. Kubernetes is used for automating the deployment, scaling and management of the containerised Microservices. The website is implemented as a responsive isomorphic web application using Javascript, ReactJS and Redux. We operate a Continuous Delivery process whereby each engineer in the product engineering teams is also expected to have and adapt to a Devops mindset.
We are currently looking for a Sr. Backend Engineer to create more impact for our cross-functional product engineering teams, and I’d be keen in talking to you about it if you’re interested. If not, lets keep in touch all the same – having good engineers in the network is always a nice thing.
