Linux Software Engineer in Test – Team Storage (f/m/d) at 1&1 IONOS SE (Berlin, Deutschland)
Your Tasks:
Our storage team develops and maintains the performance, reliability and efficiency analyses. Together we optimise the storage stack and set up a lot from scratch in order to find the best possible solution.
- You cooperate with all our developers in order to optimise the company-wide cloud storage solutions and to remove all obstacles and potential errors.
- You set up and implement test plans for performance, load, stress and security tests.
- You automate our tests cases and cooperate with the whole team to further develop the test environment.
- You participate in our sprint planning, the team’s software design, the development and validation of features of our Linux stack.
We Appreciate:
- You have solid experience with scripting languages (Python or Bash), CLI, set-up and implementation of diverse testing techniques.
- You bring sound knowledge of the development and testing of Linux kernel modules (C) and the running of Linux systems (Debian or Ubuntu).
- You have a strong analytical mindset, an eye for detail and a genuine interest in finding solutions.
- You are business-fluent in English in speaking and writing (German is a plus).
