• You will work with a diverse and collaborative team to build features, tools, and a scalable architecture that empowers the creator and consumer segment for Spotify, as well as growth for the Audiobooks business.
• We value your practical experience in software development, particularly agile engineering methods, and a deep understanding of good software practices.
• As with many new products, your responsibilities will vary frequently. You’ll be wearing multiple hats, working across different technologies, product domains, and teams.

• You have professional experience working with modern web technologies such as Javascript, React, TypeScript, Python, AWS, Docker, and Next.js.
• You are passionate about delivering end-to-end experiences and care about software architecture across the frontend, backend, and the APIs that glue them together.
• You are proficient in backend development (preferably Java) and managing system uptime and reliability.
• You have excellent communication and collaboration skills and go above and beyond to ensure alignment across subject areas.
• You care about quality and you know what it means to ship high-quality code.
• You value having fun, staying positive, and learning new things, and enjoy working closely together with your product team to bring value to your customers.
