THE ROLE AND YOUR IMPACT AT TIER

• Analyse payment fraud vectors to provide insight on the most significant issues for the business.
• Identify opportunities to address core payment fraud problems, working closely with your team to bring solutions into production systems.
• Develop platform capabilities to enable other development teams to assess the payment fraud risk associated with their products and services.
• Strike a fine balance between preventing payment fraud whilst minimising disruption to genuine users.
• Advise product managers and stakeholders on technical feasibility.
• Coordinate initiatives with other teams.
• Support in building a great team.

YOU’LL FIT GREAT WITH THESE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of professional data science experience, ideally in Python.
• Expertise in payment fraud prevention.
• Experience working with large scale datasets in a commercial context.
• Competence with R, pandas, or similar toolsets for statistical analysis.
• Plus: Prior experience integrating data models and algorithms into complex productions systems
